There are many ways you can use the Law of Attraction to improve your health.
Whether you're just looking to improve your general wellbeing, lose weight, get fitter or get over a chronic medical problem, there are specific law of attraction tools you can use to accomplish your health goals.
Here’s how you can utilize the law of attraction for your health.
1. Set Specific Health Goals
Using the law of attraction can be very effective if done in the right way, but it’s important to be specific with your health goals in order for it to work.
A lot of people make the mistake of setting very general goals such as “I want to lose weight” or “I want to get fit”.
Instead set specific goals so that it motivates you to put effort into the specific area that you want to improve.
2. Use Benchmarks With Measurable Actions
To make goals specific you can use benchmarks.
For example, rather than “I want to lose weight” set benchmarks with a schedule such as “I want to be my ideal weight of Xkgs by March”.
As well as being specific, it’s important to set goals that have measurable actions. In order to achieve your longer term goals you need to set out short term actions that you can measure.
For example, to lose weight you could set measurable actions such as:
"Find and join a local gym”
“Go to the gym 3 days a week for the next 3 months"
“Track how much sugar I eat each week”
“Weigh myself at the same time each week”
When you have big goals it often takes time to see progress. Having shorter term measurable actions allows you to see short term progress and helps you to assess whether your actions are moving you closer to your bigger goals.
3. Use a Vision Board As a Daily Reminder
A vision board can be a simple cork board or whiteboard that you can use to display words and pictures related to your health goals. Having a visual reminder to look at everyday can really help to create the emotions and motivation to help you achieve your goals.
A common way to do this is to cut out or print motivating pictures and quotes that represent your goals.
For example, if you want to lose weight , you can include pictures of healthy people that you admire and aspire to be like. These could be celebrities, coaches or simply just photographs of people doing healthy things.
Put the board somewhere you will look at it every day and put aside a couple of minutes to consciously focus on the images and words on your board.

4. Use Mental Imagery To Visualize Your Health Goals
Mental imagery or ‘visualization’ is simply creating images in your mind of the things you want to achieve.
Practicing mental imagery through meditation is a powerful method to help your subconscious mind to make the type of changes you need to attain your health goals.
Guided meditations such as the following ‘movie meditation’ are great tools for improving many aspects of your health.
Find a comfortable place to sit where you won’t be disturbed. Now take a few deep breaths and close your eyes. Imagine you are sitting alone in a small, comfortable movie theatre. The screen in front of you lights up ready for the start of a movie.
You notice a door opening on the screen, through the door you see a slim healthy vision of yourself. Now imagine getting up from your chair and stepping into the movie through the door.
You smile and move on the next aisle where you fill your shopping basket with vibrantly colored healthy fruits, nuts, vegetables and all manner of fresh, natural, healthy food.
As you place the healthy food in your basket you notice the fresh aroma of the food, feel the sensations of holding these natural foods in your hand.
You feel good knowing you are feeding your body with nourishing, nutrient rich food that will help you to attain your health goals.
The movie cuts to a scene at your home.
Still looking through your eyes, imagine yourself preparing a healthy meal with the food you just bought at the supermarket.
See the vivid colors, smell the delicious nourishing aroma.
Finally enjoy eating the food, using all your senses to take in how amazing the food tastes and how healthy you feel.
This kind of ‘mind movie’ can work for all your health goals. For example, if your goal is to get in shape, you can picture yourself in the gym.
You can visualize yourself performing each exercise in your routine. Make sure to really ‘feel it’. Feel how your body becomes firmer and more muscular with each rep of each exercise. Feel the sweat start to drip from your body and feel the healthy burn in your muscles.
Now step out of the movie and see yourself in your own home stood in front of a mirror and admire your new healthy look.
5. Use Affirmations to Positively Program Your Mind
Using affirmations can be a very effective way to program your subconscious mind and to help you achieve your health goals.
You can use the ones below or create your own. The key is to create emotion and motivation.
- My body is strong, healthy and powerful.
- I eat food that nourishes and energizes my body.
- I have a healthy, happy body.
- I take action every day to create my ideal health.
To help you use the law of attraction to achieve better health, set specific goals with benchmarks and clear schedules and create measurable short term actions.
To supercharge your goals you can use the various techniques mentioned such as using a vision board, using a ‘mind movie’ meditation as well as health related affirmations.
Doing this will help you to retrain your brain so that you consciously and subconsciously take actions to attain your health goals.
