If you want to improve your life and release the power that is locked deep within, you need to understand the Law of Attraction and how to make it work for you.
It’s called a ‘law’ because many people believe it to be a powerful law of the universe.
If you can learn to harness its full potential, you’ll able to tap into the universal power of attracting whatever you want into your life.
The basic principle behind the law of attraction is:
“What you focus on you get more of”
We are all consciously or subconsciously acting on our thoughts and emotions and are attracting back more of what we put out.
Just like other laws of the universe, the law of attraction is constantly working to translate your thoughts into reality. This means that every single thought you have can shape the reality that you live in.
So if you are constantly thinking about negative things and acting in a negative way then these can turn into self-fulfilling prophecies.
Conversely if you think about and focus on positive things, then your brain works to find ways to make that a reality for you.
History of The Law of Attraction
The law of attraction is not a new concept, in fact it’s been around for centuries!
The Buddha knew that we create our own realities. It seems he not only knew about the law of attraction, he actually taught it.
This is just one of many quotes by Buddha:
It’s also evident in many other religious texts – for example:
‘As a man thinketh in his heart so is he’ Proverbs 23:7
In more recent times the term ‘Karma’ started to be used in the west. Instinctively people got the concept of ‘what you give is what you get ‘or ‘what goes around comes around’ but this didn’t really translate into a larger movement and many people to this day remain relatively blind to the power that lies within their own mind.
Why isn’t the Law of Attraction working for you?

Why do so many people's dreams remain unfulfilled?
If our thoughts can become reality, why do so many of our thoughts, visions and dreams fail to manifest into our reality?
The problem is that our brains are more likely to subconsciously focus on the negative.
Even though we aspire to positive outcomes we unwittingly focus our thoughts on the negative.
For example the person who is in debt is focussed on ‘getting out of debt’. Subconsciously this leads him to focus on a lack of money, which is likely to lead to even more debt!
We are hard-wired to focus on failure!
Most of us fear failure, so our subconscious mind works continuously to avoid it, rather than on pursuing success.
By thinking about and focussing on failure, even though we are trying to avoid it, we unwittingly bring more of it into our reality.
The good news is, if negative thoughts have the potential to manifest as our reality, then positive thoughts have the same potential.
In fact, positive thoughts are actually stronger than negative ones.
How to Use The Law Of Attraction To Get What You Want
In order to use the law of attraction to get what you want, you will have to consciously reverse your tendency to focus on the negative.
For example, if you have mounting debts, rather than thinking yourself ‘I want to get out of debt’ try to focus on a positive outcome such as ‘I want to have financial abundance’.
You have to program your brain to focus on the success that you want to achieve rather than the failure that you want to avoid or get rid of.
Manifesting Money
Many people believe that if you can harness the power of the Law of Attraction you are likely to experience more financial success.
If you tell yourself you will be financially successful, you are more likely to carry out the necessary tasks to receive better paying jobs or develop more lucrative businesses.
Tip the scales in your favor by focusing on being financially successful.
Thinking negatively or worrying about money may actually bring about events that ultimately end with you losing money.
So it’s important to remain positive and look towards financial success rather than dwell on failures.
In Conclusion
The law of attraction can be summed in one sentence “What you focus on you get more of”. So ensure you train your brain to focus on what you actually want rather than what you don’t want!
In many cases many of us have piled up a mountain of doubts, suspicions and distrust for many years. This means it could take a while for your mind to be ‘reprogrammed’.
But don’t give up! Re-train your brain to constantly aim for positive outcomes and eventually you will see the fruits of your labour!
We all have within us, what it takes to live the life of our dreams.
Believe in your vision, work towards your goals and focus on the positive outcomes you desire and trust your mind and the universe to translate that into reality for you.
